I did not plan Pixi’s Burrow.

That is probably the most honest thing I can tell you about how it started. I was not sitting in a strategy session mapping out a product roadmap. I was sitting at my laptop during the SheBuilds x Lovable hackathon, a 48-hour online buildathon for women who want to make something real, and I built a prompt builder because I kept watching creative people freeze at the blank prompt box and I thought, what if the box just... helped?

I shipped it in 48 hours. It worked. And I could not bring myself to abandon it.

So I did not.

Every week after that, quietly, I added something. Another builder. A toolkit page. A guestbook so visitors could leave a trace of themselves. An affiliate system. A founding member badge. An interactive guide on how to write an AI art prompt that I am genuinely proud of. All of it built as a solo founder, alongside life as a mum of four, in the hours between everything else.

Today it launched on Product Hunt.

I will be honest with you about launch day. It is a strange experience. You spend weeks preparing, you send the emails, you post in the communities, you check the ranking every twenty minutes, and then you take a nap because you are exhausted and you wake up and check it again. The emails landed in spam for a lot of people, including my own test inbox, which made me laugh more than it probably should have. The US was asleep for most of our morning. None of it went perfectly.

And yet.

We reached #55 out of 811 products launching today. People I have never met found the Burrow and signed up. Upvotes came in from strangers. Comments from people who genuinely got what I was trying to build.

At one point the ranking showed #66.

My mum was born in 1966. Today was three days after, what would have been her 60th birthday. She passed away not long ago and I have been carrying that quietly through all of this, the building, the launching, the not-quite-sleeping. Seeing that number sit there on the screen, even for a few minutes, felt like something. I am not going to over-explain it. It just did.

I do not know if I would do Product Hunt again. The effort-to-return ratio is not obvious and launch days are exhausting when you are doing everything alone. But I am glad I did it once. There is something clarifying about putting your work in front of strangers and watching them find it without you holding their hand.

For a while now, you might have noticed me building something a bit different in the background. Something that involves prompt builders, a guestbook, a tiny robot rabbit guardian, and a genuinely unreasonable amount of time spent thinking about how to make AI art feel less intimidating and more like play.

That thing has a name. It has a home. And on Thursday 18 June, it is getting its proper, official, confetti-worthy launch.

So. What actually is Pixi’s Burrow?

Pixi’s Burrow is a boutique digital toyshop, aka my happy place!
A carefully curated collection of AI art prompt generators designed to make the creative side of AI feel like it was built for you, not just for people who already know what they are doing.

Every builder inside the Burrow works the same satisfying way: you pick from curated variables, the prompt assembles itself, and you copy it straight into Midjourney, Ideogram, Nano Banana, Sora, Leonardo, Artistly, wherever your creative home is.

No blank page. No spiral of “am I doing this right.” No prompt that comes out looking like seventeen different moods at war with each other.

The problem it actually solves

Here is the thing nobody says loudly enough about AI art:

The tool is not the hard part. The prompt is.

You can have access to the most powerful image generation model on the planet and still spend forty-five minutes staring at a blank box wondering why everything you generate looks like a stock photo having an identity crisis.

It is not a creativity problem. It is a language problem. AI art tools respond to specificity, to knowing that golden hour backlight and Rembrandt lighting produce completely different results, that --ar 4:5 matters for Instagram, that style references can come from art movements or directors or specific decades of cinema.

Most people do not know that yet. And there is no reason they should have to learn it all before they get to make something beautiful.

This section is for the builders as much as the buyers.

The Lab is where experiments live. Early builds, works in progress, things that are not quite finished products yet but are too interesting to hide. If you like being close to the making-of, this is your corner.

The Creator Split is one of the things I am most proud of about how the Burrow is built. Creators can sell inside it.
